It fell apart. We were looking for something attractive that would last. This aluminum chiminea fit the bill and was about the correct size. It turned out to be just a little smaller than what we had hoped. We built a short platform for it and it does well. It's front door was not an exact fit to the contour of the firebox but it was close enough. One has to be careful of the size of the fire or you can get flames out of the chimney. Standard size duraflame logs fit nicely and give a good effect. This chiminea is very attractive. We expect to get a lot of use from it. It would have been perfect (5 star) if it had been 10% larger.
